      <image:caption>The Pier House Restaurant Howth Get to know us; We are a small fine dining restaurant, set up in February of 2022, just 2 weeks before the first lockdown. We are a small team of local people, our team front of house has worked together for over 10 years previously in our sister location “O’Connells Pub”, and our kitchen team includes our head Chef Eduardo Matheus and sous chef Ruadhan De Buitleir. Our kitchen team has over 50 years combined knowledge and has worked in fine dining in Paris, London, and Ireland. With our location, right on the quayside in Howth village, our main aim is to provide the freshest local seafood, simply prepared allowing you to taste the true flavour of the sea. All our produce is locally sourced where possible, with foraged fruits and vegetables regularly appearing on our menus. We work with local suppliers, as we believe supporting local is hugely important. Our fish suppliers Doyles, have been fishing in Howth for over 200 years, and provide us with amazing produce. All our fish is brought to our door whole each morning, and is carefully prepared by our team, nothing is wasted. Our meat comes from Ray Collier, our local Howth butcher. We regularly meet with Ray to discuss our menu items, and choose the best cuts of meat, whether its dry aged Irish beef, or organic corn fed Irish chicken, we are never let down by the quality of his produce. Our menus are seasonal, and with a new menu every season, this close working relationship with our suppliers allows us to showcase the best local produce all year round. Our wine offering has been carefully selected to compliment our dishes, and we also offer some tasty cocktails designed by our team, and our own O’Connells beer range. We are always delighted to recommend something for our customers. We designed the restaurant around the sea, and the village. We wanted to incorporate the colours of the beautiful scenery we are surrounded by, and include some of the local history of this beautiful area. We wanted to create a warm cosy environment, where people can come and relax in their surroundings while enjoying a special fine dining experience.
